For the fifth edition Pulsart Restart confirms its multidisciplinary nature, offering also a view of the world of independent cinema, short films and performing arts.
Pulsart Restart has not forgotten its origins; like the previous editions, the heart of the festival will be the contemporary art exhibition, that will host several artists coming from Italy and abroad. The festival will be an educational and cultural event, a moment of shared reflection upon the development of the relations between the local environment and artistic innovation.
Also, in this edition, Pulsart Restart in Movement will be launched; This initiative will transform the festival in a “Public Art” project with the aim of engaging the city and the locals in a collective action. More information and details regarding this project will be revealed soon. Pulsart Restart 2014 offers a wide programme: workshops for adults and families, meetings with artists, short films shows, as well as street art and performing art events will be offered through 9 days.
For this 2014 edition, our project that offers accommodation for artists will host a Scottish sound artist, a dancer, a dramatist and a street artist, the guest of URGE, the street art section. We will also introduce you to Artimprendo, an experimental formative project in which many international artists and local companies are involved to demonstrate how art and business can interact, creating new and interesting partnerships.
